Owner Tim Navin
Local welding artist, Tim Navin, calls Fruita, Colorado home. Tim’s love for creating purposeful pieces of art started at a young age from watching his dad create heirloom furniture in his woodworking shop. Looking for a new adventure after college, he discovered welding and found his medium of choice to work with.
As the owner of Sparks Fly Studio Ltd.,Tim can be found creating pieces of functional art, doing custom metal fabrication, and making industrial style furniture. Tim lives to test the limits as to what can be done when you are sewing with fire. One never knows what project he’ll be working on next. What you can be sure of though, is any piece (big or small) that comes out of his studio will be handcrafted, intentionally designed and built to stand the test of time.

Lyle Inman ~ LLC Partner & Operations Manager
Raised in Dallas, Oregon, home to logging and farming, Lyle learned early on the meaning of an honest days work. This is also where he learned a love for the outdoors and what good stewardship really means.
Upon graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. There he spent 4 1/2 years learning welding and machining in aerospace, civil, ground equipment and in house repair. He achieved the level of E-4 SRA along with FFA Level II Welder Qualification in GTAW (Tig Welding) on aluminum, stainless, titanium, and nickel alloys as well as Journeyman Machinist Qualification.
After being Honorably Discharged from the United States Air Force, Lyle took his structured military background, along with his work knowledge and work ethic to the private sector and became a successful employee to a broad range of manufacturing and commercial employers.
A 30 Year Veteran of the trades, Lyle is looking forward to starting his own business partnership with Tim Navin of Sparks Fly Studio.
